Thalarey is a country in Zarhanna, on Lezaria. It is bound on the south by the Mirandarine Ocean, on the east by Kedresida, on the west by Taverak, and on the north by Rízán. The realm is primarily meadows and forests, partially bound by mountains on two sides. The Kedresidon Mountains lie to the east, and the Mountains of Morderant to the west.

The country is primarily inhabited by song elves and zephyli, and is nearly the only place zephyli live due to the presence of the great dream-trees.

The port cities of Valiësdoré and Desán Deruna lay along the south coast. At the north point of the Mountains of Morderant stands Tinemocun, the ancient city-fortress of the Elven Council.
