 +====Catalysm====

 +Catalysm is a rare [[Talent]] that involves the manipulation of [[magic]] itself. Unlike other Talents, it is never used with "Magic" in its name, and is sometimes not even considered a real Talent at all. Those who use Catalysm are called Catalysts.
 +
 +The [[aura]] color associated with Catalysm is <color #330033/#FF00FF>magenta</color>.

 +==Enchantment==
 +
 +One of the main abilities that often falls under Catalysm is enchantment of items. At its heart, this is simply achieved by anchoring a spell to a solid object.
 +
 +Catalysm can also be used to tear apart an enchantment, disrupting it sufficiently to make it fall apart. This can be used as an alternative to [[antimagic]] in dispelling enchantments. For a skilled Catalyst with good reflexes, the same can be done with spells as they are being cast as well.
 +
 +With a great level of skill, a Catalyst can not only enchant an item, but alter an enchantment put in place by someone else. It's much more difficult to affect another person's mana than one's own, and only a Catalyst can do so.
 +
 +----
 +
 +==Tapping==
 +
 +A Catalyst will never be without [[mana]], even on a mana-dead world. A sufficiently strong Catalyst can punch through the [[Veil]] to draw mana directly from the [[Ethereal Plane]] without having to rely on ambient mana or their own natural mana flow.
